ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK

HALF OF THE ROCKIES

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK

Rocky Mountain National Park is located just outside of Estes Park, Colorado. It spans the northern Colorado continental divide and features some of the nation's most beautiful mountain vistas. The park includes protected mountains, forests, and alpine tundra and offers visitors unparalleled access through paved roads, hundreds of miles of hiking trails, and well maintained facilities.

Rocky Mountain National Park was established in 1915 and today is one of the nation's most visited parks in the National Park System. RMNP features 5 visitor centers, one of which was designed by the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture at Taliesin West. Adventurous visitors can drive on the nation's highest continuous paved highway to reach the Alpine Visitor Center situated at nearly 12,000 feet above sea level.
